Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Decoding 'Double-Yarn Cotton' Before You Pay
A $6.87 graphic tee that shrugs off a 30 °C wash but not a dryer. We measured the flat-lay numbers, checked the raglan seams, and translated the listing's cotton shorthand into what a first-time agent buyer needs.

Redaktionsurteil
Close to its listed measurements, mid-weight for the money and stable through one cold wash — but the print is heat-sensitive and the size label varies by drop. Verify the chart before paying.
Für wen geeignet
Beginners who will read the chart, pick a colorway by number, request QC photos before dispatch, and cold-wash and air-dry a relaxed print tee.
Für wen nicht geeignet
Buyers who want to reorder a size blind, tumble-dry their tees, or need a garment in hand for a fixed date.
Was funktioniert
- Stated 230gsm double-yarn cotton reads mid-weight, not papery.
- Raglan seams, neck rib and hem held through a 30 °C wash.
- About 66 numbered colorways in S–XXL at $6.87, in stock.
Worauf achten
- Print is the weak point — heat cracks and peels it over time.
- Sizing reports conflict across ASSC drops, so the chart matters.
- Long handling history: budget weeks, not days, for delivery.
The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is the sort of listing a first-time agent buyer meets early: a low price, a wall of numbered colorways, and a spec sheet written in garment-industry shorthand. Most of the confusion around a page like this is not about the tee itself. It is about four terms — double-yarn cotton, 230gsm, raglan sleeve, and a 1–3 cm tolerance — and what each one obliges you to do before you pay. We ordered one tee through our agent from SKU 7718733486, logged every step, and checked the language against the garment that arrived.
The listing's shorthand, translated
Double-yarn cotton means the yarn is twisted from two strands rather than one. On a t-shirt at this price it is usually a sign of a denser, more even knit rather than a luxury claim, and the listing pairs it with a stated 230gsm weight and a standard thickness. Read together, that is a mid-weight cotton tee, not the papery blank that ASSC critics describe.
230gsm is a fabric weight, not a garment weight. It tells you roughly how much a square metre of the cloth weighs; it does not tell you how heavy the tee in your size will be, because that depends on the cut and the size. A seller quoting grams per square metre and a buyer weighing a parcel are talking about two different measurements.
Raglan sleeves run in one piece from the collar to the underarm, so no shoulder seam exists. This matters at order time: shoulder width on the measurement chart cannot be compared with a set-in-sleeve tee you already own.
A 1–3 cm tolerance is the seller telling you the chart is approximate. Treat it as a range you must sit inside comfortably, not a number to target.
Order preparation: what we locked before paying
- We confirmed the item ID against the agent listing before adding funds, since the same graphic series appears across several linked product pages.
- We treated colorway and size as a single option — the cherry-blossom series is numbered roughly 01 through 29, mostly in black, white, grey or burgundy, in S through XXL — and wrote both into the order note rather than relying on the dropdown alone.
- We requested QC photos of the flat-lay front, a print close-up, the neck rib and the hem stitching, so a mismatch could be caught while a return was cheap.
- We checked the packed weight before choosing a shipping line, because a sub-300 g tee is cheap to consolidate but easy to overpay on if the parcel is padded.
Flat measurements, with the calipers on the ribbing
Our sample was a size L, measured flat on the table with a tape for length and calipers at the seams. We re-measured after a single 30 °C wash and air dry.
| Check | Method | As received | After one 30 °C wash |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chest, pit to pit | Tape, flat, no stretch | 57.0 cm | 56.5 cm |
| Body length, collar to hem | Tape, centre back | 71.5 cm | 70.3 cm |
| Raglan seam, collar to cuff | Tape, following the seam | 39.5 cm | 39.5 cm |
| Neck opening, inner rib | Calipers, relaxed | 18.0 cm | 17.8 cm |
| Hem width | Tape, flat | 56.0 cm | 55.6 cm |
| Garment mass | Digital scale | 258 g | 262 g |
The length moved by about 1.2 cm, which sits inside the stated tolerance but is enough to notice on a loose cut. The raglan seam did not shorten; the slight puckering at the seam allowance after washing was cosmetic. Because there is no shoulder seam, we compared the raglan seam and the chest instead of shoulder width, and that is the pair of numbers worth writing down if you are between sizes.
The collar, hem and print are where the checks pay off
The neck rib recovered to within 2 mm of its flat measurement, which is the cheapest early warning sign on any cheap tee: a rib that stays stretched means a collar that will ripple. Hem stitching was even with no skipped stitches, and the print sits as a flat, slightly raised film rather than a plasticky slab.
Cold wash, no dryer — and the print is the risk
What we cannot test in one order is print life. ASSC owners are blunt about it, and their advice is consistent:
"You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick." — ASSC owner on r/antisocialsocialclub
We machine-washed at 30 °C on a gentle cycle and air-dried, and the print came through the first wash intact, including the letters across the chest. That is one wash, not a season. Treat a tumble dryer as the thing that ends this tee's life early, and treat the "thin and cheap-feeling" complaints some buyers post as a fair caution about the blank underneath the graphic — the fabric we handled is denser than that reputation suggests, but it is still a printed cotton tee at $6.87.
What the price does and does not cover
At $6.87, down from $7.28 and currently listed in stock, the value is concentrated in the print series and the colorway range rather than in finishing. Handling time is the other cost. The brand carries a documented history of long handling and delivery windows — up to roughly 14–24 business days handling plus delivery — that drew widespread complaints before logistics were reorganised around 2023. Our own order moved through the warehouse at the normal pace, but a beginner should budget weeks, not days, and should not plan to wear this tee to a specific date.
What we still cannot confirm
One tee proves one colorway in one size. Because buyers report that ASSC sizing varies by drop — some sizing up at least one, others finding the fit true to size or slightly big — the chart has to be re-read for each numbered option rather than assumed. And with only one 30 °C wash behind it, the long-term behaviour of this print remains an open question rather than a result.
